Bad news for the weekend i’m afraid.

The BBC report that legendary childrens art program preseneter Tony Hat has died at the age of 83.

I think everyone in the Guild grew up with Tony’s shows and almost everyone in this country knows who he is and his work, especially the aweosme Morph.

I’m not gonna rewrite the BBC article so have a read of it for some Hart sentiment.

It’s a sad day for the world of art (or at least the aprt that matters) best of our wishes to his family.

This is a giggle. A guy has got his friend to tell the story of Star Wars- except she’s never seen it before. She’s aware of bits of the plot and she has to try to piece the story together. The best bit is her description of Chewbecca.

This is a special post to all the gamers out there who actually aren’t fanboys of one console or another. I am a pretty open gamer, i’ll play any game on any format until I decide it’s good (at which point I buy it) or it’s shit (at which point I stop playing it *cough* LOTR Conquest *cough*).

Anways, I recently saw that awesome offer on Play for a 2.5 320gb SATA HDD that I can upgrade my PS3 with. Now I was a launch owner so I only have 60GB and with Metal Gear and such games eating 5+GB each for an install I was looking to expand.

I took advantage of this and got my hard drive, looked all cool, checked the PS manual and some youtube vids on how to change it, looks easy, no different to a fidly tower fitting right, what can go wrong. I take out my antistatc mat, get the caddy out, take the first few screws out then disaster strikes! (more…)

Hey Guys!

Gonna share a couple of cool links that I have found over the past few months for creating avatars and characters for use on the net. These are always a cool talking point on forums and something fun to show you friends, it’s likely you have seen some before but I am going to put a few up along with my examples so get creating your own!

This is one of my favourites, just because it’s os silly. It’s called Face Your Manga and let’s you create a manga stlye avatar of you own little face.

The Cyberman, the Vashta Nerada and the Scarecrow are my favourites, but the Pyrovillian is pretty cool too. Shame the one of The Doctor isn’t very good- since when has the 10th Doctor had *black* hair?
