What is this website?

This is a simple blog maintained by the various members of the Guardian Force Guild, it contains our take on news from the gaming, media and general geek world as well as some fun resources such as wallpapers, icons/avatars and if we ever get around to it, software.

Who are Guardian Force?

Guardian Force is a gaming guild based locally in Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, England. We are all old enough to know better than watching Merlin, reading comics and playing games but hey, what are you gonna do?

We are all pretty friendly and cover a wide range of both professional and recreation skills, if you want to know more about us check out the members pages.

Why should I read another blog?

Well I’m not sure! We try to give you an unbias, friendly and informative look into both our own lives and the entertainment world. We really do love almost any form of media and the thing we try to offer here is help, advice and news without the bull.

PS3, X-Box or Wii? Mac or PC? United or City?

We are not fanboys, we play all formats where possible and try to apply this to all aspects of work and play. Picking sides rarely gets you the best of everything but staying open usually does. Don’t come to us with fanboy opinions, they are rarely observant or informative and never original, keep that attitude back on IGN or Felicia Day’s twitter feed.

We are a local based Guild of people who are friends in real life as well as the digital world however we will accept new people into the fold if you share the same kind of values we do. If you really, really want to be a part of Guardian Force get in touch and we’ll just have to see.
