Bon Jovi to Promote New Final Fantasy Game

Yes you heard that right IGN are reporting that Guardian Force favourites Bon Jovi are going to be promoting the new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game in Japan.

Bon Jovi will feature in commercials with their song We Weren’t Born to Follow from the upcoming The Circle Album in a move that IGN labels “unexpected” but which I label “fucking epic”. This is literally two of my favourite things rolled into one geeky rock bundle of joy.

The downside is that the commercials are not likely to make it State side or to mighty Albion Nation we know as the UK so we will just have to be content with the YouTube rips (they are not there yet I did check just in case). The song is though so check out this sneak peak from the new album which incidentally will be available on 2nd of November.

Nice Bon Jovi country rock song and the lyrics do kind of suit the Final Fantasy way of life.

The new Crystal Chronicles game that it will be promoting is unlikely to actually feature the tune in game but if previous home console FF:CC games are anything to go by this game will be awesome (although no longer multiplayer) fun and was onef o the reasons I even purchased a Wii God knows how long ago.
