Theme Update

Hello all,

Just a quick post to say we have given the site a bit of a makeover, kept having problems with the newer version of Wordpress and my theme, I suspect it was something to do with a combination of plugins and the theme however we will never know.

Anyway hope you like the new look, it’s a bit slicker and more purple, which will at least make Nilhuanwen and Jesta happy.

If you notice any problems just let us know but hope you still like the look of the blog and still enjoy reading!

Subscription Fixed

Hello Readers,

Just a quick note, we recently did a theme update on the site which caused our cute little RSS icon on the top of the page to break! Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until 50 of you had tried to click it so super sorry to everyone who tried to subscribe in that time, hopefully you found it over to our subscribe page but if not you can try again now and it’s all A-OK!

Dropped the ball on this one no excuse but we are all (mostly) human right?

To cheer you up here is a funny video of someone dropping the ball significantly worse than me.

Away!

Hey Everyone,

I had to post this just because of how wrong it is. I had to catch a spider yesterday, possibly the biggest house spider I’ve ever seen. Photographic evidence below.

It got dumped in next doors garden/weed jungle. Hopefully the cold last night killed it.

The Review System

24 Sep

With the increase in posting comes Guardian Force UK reviews.

I am going to give a quick outline of our review process. It will be short and sharp, no long essays or complex analysis unless we feel the game/movie whatever is really worth yours and our time.

Generally reviews will be like this.

Each member of the guild who is interested in the item will be given an equal portion of 100%.

The members will then list a few reasons why they do or do not like the item and give their contribution to the percentage.  Percentages are added up at the end and the item gets its final grade, which is of course out of 100.

We feel this way will give games and movies a fair representation of a wide opinion base without us having to write 10 reviews each time.

We have done our first review in this style of stratergy/RTS PSN title, Pixel Junk Monsters.
