When the first news was leaked regarding the A-Team movie I was more than concerned. I couldn’t see any way the movie exec’s in their tower of shattered dreams could allow something as silly as the A-Team to be accurately redone.

As more details came out we head of the pretty decent cast list, Liam Nielson as cigar chompin’ Hannibal,  Bradley “Will Tippin” Cooper as Face, Sharlto “Fookin Prawn” Copley as crazy man Murdock and out of the box choice Rampage Jackson as B.A.

Although we didn’t talk about it much, Mass Effect was an ace game. An excellent blend of RPG and shooter and the first real outreach of Bioware’s ever-evolving and increasingly epic “conversation story system”.

The graphics were good, the voice acting was superb and in general the game play was really enjoyable. I played through twice to get a feel for both sides of combat and thus was a Soldier and a Sentinel, I think I enjoyed Sentinel the most, probably because it made things a little more tactical.

Anyway the story of Commander Shepard continues in the eagerly anticipated and soon to be released Mass Effect 2, take a look here for the official trailer (which features near Advent Children quality cut scenes) and a selection of mini-videos IGN did detailing changes to the classes in MS2 from their ME1 styling.

Hey Guys,

Latest trailers are out for Kick Ass and it’s definitely looking like it will be a lot of fun. For those not in the comic world Kick Ass has been a very new (not even finished yet) and exciting comic series by Scottish writing maestro Mark Millar.

He was also the guy behind Wanted although, in my opinion the film adaptation was a bit hollow. Enjoyable but empty. Kick Ass is looking like a much more faithful adaptation however of a simple, yet brilliant idea.

Standard high school nerd Dave is fed up of being nothing, he decides to trade in his boring life for something worth while, becoming the first “real” superhero. He has no powers, no advanced skills he’s just a teenager with some ambition. As usual Millar’s world doesn’t show any mercy and Kick Ass is soon full of stabbing, blood and torrents of swearing, all of it of course, entirely enjoyable.

Yes, I’m still feeling quite upset that we’ve said our goodbye to the Tenth Doctor. It’s not fair! I’m not posting to dwell on that matter though.

This new trailer looks really exciting and makes the Eleventh Doctor look *awesome*. If you look closely, you can see the Weeping Angels, River Song, the Doctor getting a snog (again), Sir Leon from Merlin (I think) and a very scary looking face/mask thing. Geronimo!

A little while back, we posted the “Shawshank Redemption in a Minute” rap. This afternoon I stumbled across a similar kind of thing but about Terminator 2.

This is perhaps a bit long at 9 minutes, but it’s very funny and some of the rhymes are excellent, never more so than when they’re teaming the rap with bits of dialogue from the film. It’s very cleverly done and manages to name drop Christian Bale at the end. Worth watching for the rap-dialogue rhymes alone. And it’s all done in an English accent :D
